Trade Ally Network Expands Services
Sep 14 2009
Building on its two-year record of successfully supporting trade allies in working with public utility lighting efficiency programs, the Northwest Trade Ally Network for Commercial and Industrial Lighting (TAN) will expand its services next year. BPA, which funds the TAN, recognizes the value the network provides in helping the region meet its efficiency goals.
"In the Commercial Sector, lighting efficiency makes up 40 percent of the conservation potential. This means that improving lighting efficiency programs and supporting trade allies and utilities is a top priority for the region," said Ray Hartwell, BPA's lead for commercial sector energy efficiency.
While planning is still underway, trade allies can look forward to an expanded range of training opportunities as well as support in bringing efficiency projects to completion. In addition, the TAN will increase its support of utilities to help them succeed in meeting their commercial efficiency goals. Be sure to check the Northwest Trade Ally Network Web site regularly for information on next year's services and events.
