Bonneville Power Administration to conduct trade ally survey
Jan 15 2010

Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) will conduct research with trade allies in early 2010 to understand their experience with the Northwest TAN.

BPA has contracted with Research Into Action, an independent research firm, to assess several components of BPA's lighting offering. In January and February 2010, the firm will survey utility staff and regional lighting contractors who have participated in the Northwest TAN in the past few years. If contacted, contractors are encouraged to participate in the survey to assist BPA in improving the services and support the TAN provides to regional lighting contractors.

“This research will provide insights that will assist BPA and regional public utilities in improving the effectiveness of the Trade Ally Network,” said Lauren Gage, BPA Energy Efficiency evaluation lead. “Lighting contractors and the TAN are key components in our strategy to meet efficiency goals established by the Northwest Power and Conservation Council’s draft Sixth Power Plan and to spread the benefits of energy efficiency throughout the region.”
