Carey takes on new role with Northwest TAN
Jan 15 2010

Northwest trade allies and utilities will see a new face from BPA Energy Efficiency program — Wade Carey, the agency’s commercial and federal programs specialist, joins Ray Hartwell in managing BPA’s commercial lighting program.

Carey joined BPA in 2008 from Columbia River PUD, where he managed the residential weatherization and heat pump program as well as the commercial lighting program. With Hartwell’s recent promotion to commercial sector lead and expanded job duties, Carey will become more active with Northwest TAN. He also manages BPA’s relationship with its regional federal agency customers and works directly with them to implement energy efficiency projects.

The St. Helens, Ore., resident is a graduate of the Energy Management Program at Lane Community College in Eugene. “I look forward to working with utilities and lighting contractors around the region to develop more commercial lighting projects and generate the savings we need to meet our region’s goals,” said Carey.
